  1. Hey guys.
I would like to start reflecting the presentations of our researches. It's nice to see that not just I felt nervous about the presentation. Today I talked to Tenses and he told me that he feels like sitting in a class with friends and that made it easier for him to present his project. I can agree with that, because it was really helpful to feel free for my first presentation. I like the idea that everyone is bringing his/her most important global issue into the class. I am looking forward for the next presentations on thursday. It is a nice experience to listen to you guys.

  2. Hello,
During This Semester I Met People That Are Different But At The Same Time Very Caring. I Enjoyed The Diversity In The Class Because We Can All Relate To The Same Things Even Though We Are From Different Places In The World. But The Best Thing About This Class Was The Presentation, Even Though I Was Nervous I Knew That The Class Will Make Me Feel Relax And Not Under Pressure. Everyone Presentation Was Different And All Had Meaning To it, I Feel As If These People Picked Their Research base On the Things They Most Care About. There Presentation Enlighten Me To Many Different Topics That Is Effecting The World As A Whole. I Came Into This Class Knowing Anyone But Now Im Leaving The Class With New Friends.

  3. I really like the idea of presentations. At first I thought why do we have to do a presentation when we will give our whole paper on the same topic at the end of the semester anyway. But after everyone started presenting I realized that it was a great way for everyone to bring different issues to our attention. I didn't really think about some of the problems and did not consider some events. So not only we have learned a little about 20 different global issues, but we have also learned a little about our classmates. It interesting to see who chose what topic, who is concerned about what.
Another interesting side of it is that we can see that many of the issues are connected. Even the subject of my research - refugee children, I could make connections with Dallas' research on child soldiers. And Maranda also talked about child slavery a little, and the psychological aspect of it. Listening to their presentations actually helped me learn more about the issue that I am writing about.
    Thank you everyone!! :)
